Thai Beef Kebabs
- Dice the tri tip sirloin into medium-sized cubes.
- In a small bowl, whisk together 1/4 cup of vegetable oil, 1/4 cup of soy sauce, the juice of one lime, 2 minced cloves of garlic, 2 Tbsp. of freshly grated ginger, 1 Tbsp. of sugar, and 1 tsp. of black pepper. Transfer the meat to a large bowl or resealable plastic bag and pour the marinade over the meat, turning to coat thoroughly. Refrigerate for 2-4 hours, or longer if desired.
- Preheat the grill to 425 degrees.
- Drain and discard the marinade. Pat the meat dry and thread onto skewers with your choice of diced vegetables. Note: if using wooden skewers, minimize the amount of exposed skewer by threading the skewers closely with meat and veggies. You can also protect the ends of the skewers with foil.
- Place the skewers directly on the grill grates and close the lid. Grill 2-4 minutes on each side.
- Remove the skewers from the grill and enjoy!
